L ibreville, December 15, 2025 – The Gabon Biodiversity Preservation Fund (FPBG) is opening a call for projects titled "Marine & Coastal Conservation," financed by Blue Bonds. This initiative aims to subsidize actions that sustainably protect marine and coastal ecosystems while strengthening local communities and supporting the national blue economy.
Eligible projects focus on the preservation of the coastline and marine protected areas, support for communities dependent on marine resources, the restoration of marine and coastal ecosystems, and the creation of nature-based sustainable activities. NGOs, associations, cooperatives, and institutions working in the field are invited to apply to contribute to the environmental resilience and sustainable development of Gabon's coastal areas.
Two submission options are available: physical submission at the FPBG headquarters in the Baie des Rois (FGIS Building, 2nd floor) or online via the digital counter $[https://guichetnumerique.fpbg.ga](https://guichetnumerique.fpbg.ga)$.
"Let's make Blue Bonds a driving force for protecting our coast and for sustainable community development," says the FPBG, calling for collective mobilization for the future of Gabon's oceans.
